WW1 British army engineers field saw in its fitted leather case in good used condition and dated 1916.The leather case is in good condition with supple leather and is maker marked and dated 1916 as is the saw also maker marked and dated 1916, all items are in good used condition but it is missing the cutting tool which is normal with this type of item.The two wooden handles are W/D marked also with a makers mark and again dated 1916, the file is still in its compartment in the leather case.A nice original item with its original parts still in place making a very nice display item, with all items showing age related wear.Please see the photographs for further detail.
