British military wristwatch made by Record and marked W.W.W in very good condition. The W.W.W wristwatch was made by very many different watch company’s towards the end of WW2 with only Timor and Omega having production in place before the end of WW2, this is a post war example which looks like it had a repair in 1964 this is marked on the inside of the back cover.The wristwatch waterproof watch was developed to replace the A.T.P watches with a better and more robust movement and case.The watch is in very good working condition and fully serviced with signs of use, the case and crystal show minor wear and tear with their condition clearly shown in the photographs.The movement of the watch is marked Record and is Swiss made with 15 jewels, the inside of the case is marked W.W.W 3525047 the same as the outside of the case which also has A12131. The dial of the watch is in very good condition with the British army arrow stamp and Record clearly seen in the photographs and is all original with no restoration, the hands show some minor signs of age but generally in good order.The watch keeps excellent time over 24 hours and has been bench tested against the computer,please see the photographs for further detail.
